She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas "Tom" Bates and Mary "Lizzy" Bates (Campbell); her sister Rose Doyle; and her brothers-in-law, Kevin MacDonald and Bill Mullins.
She is survived by: her husband Lloyd; her children, Travis (Karen) and Kelly Carter-Lynn (Brandon); her siblings, Patricia Mullins, Pauline MacDonald (Bill) and Tommy (Jackie); her brother-in-law Earl Doyle; her grandsons, Aries, Seth, Benjamin, Blaine (Ashlynn), Raleigh and Leif; and her friends, Jeanette, Lois and Joannie.
