He is survived by: his siblings, Jack (Pat), Lawrence (Sharon), Sandy (Lillian), Victor (Caroline), Rose, Germaine, Catherine (Charlie Phillips) and Florence (Donald Powell). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the All Faith Chapel (1092 Victoria Rd, Sydney, NS B1N1L1). A memorial service was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
