She was predeceased by: her parents, Erry Rushton and Ida Rushton (Ferdinand); her siblings, Helen, Beulah, Verna, Weldon, Lewellyn and Garland (Lorraine MacLean); her daughter Patsy; her son-in-law Ron Corbett; and the father of her children John Hennessey.
She is survived by: her daughter Joan Corbett (Mike MacPherson); and her friend Nellie Betts. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 28th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Sydney Memorial Chapel (49 Welton St, Sydney, NS B1P5R3). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 29th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
