It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gladys Mae (Simms) Miller (Sydney, Nova Scotia), who passed away on February 22, 2024, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Simms and Barbara Simms of Whitney Pier; her husband John; her siblings, Phyllis Boutilier (Robert), Edith Nash (John) and Gordon Simms (Edna); and her pets, Chimo, Kayla, Brandi and Brady.
She is survived by: her children, Barbara and Glenn Miller (Diane); and her brother Bill Gadd (late Marilyn). She is also survived by eight nieces and nephews, their children and grandchildren; and several grandnieces and nephews.
Donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia, the Cove Guest Home, or Hospice Palliative Care Society of Cape Breton County in her memory.
