Gladys Charlotte (Mombourquette) Corbett Obituary

Gladys Corbett, 83, of Sydney, passed away on Saturday, May 15, 2004, at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, Sydney.
Born in South Bar, on June 25, 1920, she was the daughter of the late Peter and Annie (Fougere) Mombourquette. She was a member of Holy Redeemer parish.
Gladys is survived by three daughters, Marce Ellis, Barrio, Ont., Jessie (John) Graham, Sydney, Margaret (John) Pyke, Sydney; three sons, Michael (Selena), Sydney, Leo P. (Lorene), Glace Bay, Gary (Huena), Ottawa; 29 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; one sister, Tillie Gillis, Ontario.
Gladys was predeceased by her husband, Leo; one daughter, Charlotte 'Lovie", one son George, 'Gaggy'; five sisters and five brothers.
Visitation will be held in Sydney Memorial Chapel on Monday, May 17, 2004, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. with funeral mass in Holy Redeemer Church on Tuesday, May 18, 2004, at 11 a.m. with Rev. A.J. (Gus) MacLeod officiating. Interment in Forest Haven Memorial Gardens.
