It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Gertrude Lynk (Sydney, Nova Scotia), born in Glace Bay, Nova Scotia, who passed away on November 10, 2021, at the age of 104, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Daniel MacInnis and Minnie MacInnis (MacNeil); her husband Cletus; and her siblings, Frances Hamill, Betty Brocki, Mary Cashen, Alex, John, Leo, Michael, Fraser and Thomas.
She is survived by: her daughters, Marie Barron (Gerald) and Leona MacIntyre (late Robert); her grandchildren, Fred (Diane), Jeff, Lindsay (Jimmy), Chris, Deanna (Desmond), Denise (Stephen), Charleen (Jack), Craig (Shelley) and Mark (Richelle); and her great grandchildren, Andrew, Bryan, Ella, Brooke, Kayla, Clayton (Heather), Heather and Mella. She is also survived by Mom, one of ten children.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Salvation Army or a charity of your choice.
