It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Georgina Gladys Betts (Sydney, Nova Scotia), who passed away on November 23, 2021, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Watt and Muriel Watt (Redmond); her significant other Tunney Betts; her son Richard Anderson; and her siblings, Esta Cameron and Everett Watt.
She is survived by: her brother Bob Watt (Eva Jenkins); and her children, Cathy (LaDell Rose), Diane (Carl MacKinnon), Stephen Anderson and Cindy (Paul Garbutt). She is also survived by her 18 grandkids and 30 great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Covid-19 protocols are in effect. Proof of double vaccination, ID and masks are mandatory.
Donations in Mom's memory may be made to the Hospice Palliative Care Society of Cape Breton County.
