George Sparling Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of George Sparling (Sydney, Nova Scotia), who passed away on July 30, 2023. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Sparling and Gertrude Sparling (Wall); his wife Pauline Sparling (MacGillivary); his daughter Neila; his son-in-law Greg Clarke; his granddaughter Denise Legge; his siblings, Darlene and Collie; and his brother-in-law Steven Fifield.
He is survived by: his daughters, Darlene Sparling (Colby MacInnis), Charlie Bonaparte (Coke), Gina LeBlanc (Gary) and Nancy Sampson (Kelly); his close friend Clara Bickerton; his siblings, Joan Donovan (Ron), Korena Sparling (Ken Hanson), Albert Bridge, Dolores Fifield, Sydney, Carol Ann Sparling, Roland (Joan), John (Mary) and Greg (Shirley); his siblings-in-law, Aileen MacNeil (Bernie) and Alex Maziarz; and also, Lesley Anne Corbett (Ecky), Darryl Bickerton (Kerri) and Tara Dawn Bickerton (Bob McEwen). He is also survived by 24 grandchildren and 36 great-grandchildren, many loving nieces and nephews.
