George Peters Obituary

We are sad to announce that on February 11, 2023, at the age of 65, George Peters (Sydney, Nova Scotia) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert "Barney" Peters and Alice Peters (MacGillivray); his brother Tom; his parents-in-law, Norman and Helen Powell; and his brother-in-law Harvey Stone.

He is survived by: his wife Sheila (Powell); his sons, Jordan (Shannon) and Tyler (Taylor); his sisters, Anne Stone, Brenda Carson (Jerry), Judy MacLellan (Paddy) and Allison Locke (Glenn); his sister-in-law Debbie Peters; his brothers, Fred (Evelyn), Gordon (Linda MacDonald) and Terry (Debbie); and his grandchildren, Kacey, Jake and Boppie. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Memorials may be made to the An Cala Unit at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital or Hospice Cape Breton.
