Geertje Head Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Geertje Head (Sydney, Nova Scotia), who passed away on October 16, 2021 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She is survived by: her husband Major William Head (Bill); her children, Louisa Frampton (Max), Lori McCarthy (Dez) and Jim Head (Lorena); her sister Lyda 'Sis Hollahan; her sister-in-law Yvonne Head; her grandchildren, Lisa Smith (Don), Greg Burton (Beverley), Leslie Wiseman (Steve), Tina Panzica (Ben), Tanya Fick (Scott), Tamara Beliciu (Costin) and Jason Head; and her stepgrandchildren, Sheldon Frampton, Michelle Flynn (Weldon) and Shannon Frampton. She is also survived by 'Oma' are her 23 great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren.
Covid protocols will be practiced at the service and for those unable to attend, Live Streaming will be available on Sydney Community Church's Facebook Page.
