He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Street (FairyBelle Edwards) and Herbert Street; his brothers, Walter and Brian; his wife Carol MacDonald; and the mother of his children Cheryl.

He is survived by: his sons-in-law, Will MacDonald (Tara) and Jamie Playfair (Tonya); his sisters, Loreen, Lily and Lea; his close friend Rita MacNeil-Weatherbee; and also Gillian Pettipas.
