He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Gaudet and Dorothy Gaudet (Jennings); his former wife Jean (Martin); his siblings, Eileen O'Brien and Ernest; and his brother-in-law Martin Willems.

He is survived by: his wife Connie (Hollingsworth); his children, Karen Ann Gaudet, Sydney, Lynn Cole (Brett), Elaine Gaudet (Moe), Joanne Corbett, Connecticut and Fred Corbett (Diane); his sisters, Helen Willems and Frances Hatcher (Harold); his sister-in-law Louise Gaudet (Albert Bridge); his grandchildren, Jessie Ray, Etta Jean, Leslee, Ashlee, Krystel, Tristin, Aden and Summer; and his great grandchildren, Kyler and Haven.

Memorials may be made to the Parkinson Society, Autism Nova Scotia, Alzheimer Association or charity of choice.
