With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Emily Elsie MacDonald (Sydney, Nova Scotia), who passed away on January 26, 2024 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Douglas Butler and Mildred Butler; her husband Leslie; and her brothers, Douglas, John, William and Patrick.
She is survived by: her children, Shane (Ruby), Gary (Ann Elizabeth), Georges River and Wendy Logue (Steve) of Campbellcroft, ON; her brothers, Walter of Newfoundland and Harold of Newfoundland; her brother-in-law Percy MacDonald (Meg); her grandchildren, Jacqueline (Eric), Elizabeth (Jordan), Alycia (Zeez), Eric (Shelby) and Brett; her great grandchildren, Daniel, Shane (Kaiya), Hope, Titus, Lydia and Abigail; her great great grandchild Nolan; and her sisters, Loris, Patricia, Susan and Catherine. She is also survived by her many nieces and nephews.
