She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Letcher and Katie Margaret Letcher; her husband Gerald; and her brothers, Ted, Dan, Arthur and Frank.
She is survived by: her son Jeff (Lisa); her brother Walter (Phyllis); her grandchildren, Jennifer, Laceyj, Angela, Destiny, Seelie and Rikki; and her sisters, Marion and Martina. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, Donations in memory of Betty may be made to Hospice Cape Breton or the Cape Breton Cancer Center.
