We bid farewell to Elaine McGuigan (Sydney, Nova Scotia), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on December 9, 2024 at the age of 79. Elaine touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Vince McGee and Mildred McGee (Neil); her husband Maynard Joseph; her siblings, Millie Harritta, Gloria Hooper, Stasia Martin, George McGee, Vince McGee, Gordie MacNeil and Kelly MacDonald; and her grandchild Taylor.
She is survived by: her children, Nelina Seymour (Dwayne), Maynard (Coralee) and Michael (Gina); her grandchildren, Danny, Mikie, Jamie, Brandon, Justin and Tyler; her great grandchildren, Kenzie, Oden and Iris; her siblings, Patricia Madore of London, ON, Valerie Kee, Lillian Sparling (Bob), Patti MacDonald, Susan MacDonald, Sydney, Murray Tobin, Fred Tobin (Sheila), New Glasgow and Richard Heighton (Anita); her sister-in-law Bernadette Oliver; and her close friend Arlene Dunford.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Sydney Memorial Chapel (49 Welton St, Sydney, NS B1P5R3). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
