With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elaine Marion Matheson (Sydney, Nova Scotia), who passed away on June 3, 2023 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Carew and Lena Carew (Anderson); her siblings, Shirley Brennan, Louie, Gerry, Kevin and Bernie; and her sisters-in-law, Arlene, Judy Carew and Brenda Matheson.
She is survived by: her son Daryl (Brandy); her granddaughter Kate Lainey of Sydney; her siblings, Joanie MacKenzie (Steve) and George (Sydney); and her siblings-in-law, Rena, Deborah, Donna, Gerald (Jane), Dan and Owen. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Renal Dialysis Unit at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital or to the Church of Christ the King.
