She was predeceased by: her parents, Benjamin Hardy and Myrtle Hardy (Anthony); her sister Eleanor March (Hardy); and her parents-in-law, Ernest and Bertha Smith.
She is survived by: her children, Janice Smith of Sydney, NS, Hilary Fitzgerald (Roddie) of Boularderie, NS and Ernie Smith (Shannon) of Edmonton, AB.; and her sister Elizabeth McInnis (Edward) of Kingston, NS. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
