It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edith Marie Hrynick (Sydney, Nova Scotia), who passed away on October 20, 2023, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William and Susan Fifield (Stagg); her stepmother Annie Fifield; and her siblings, Alvin Fifield (Edie), Georgie Fifield (Sandra), Jessie Farr (George), Brian Edwards (Debbie) and Cheryl Lynn Edwards.

She is survived by: her children, Mallory Hrynick (Michaud Mercredi) and Larry Hrynick; her grandchildren, Oakley and Autumn Mercredi; her siblings, Shirley Lorway (late Ron), Susan Edwards (Joe), Suzanne Wrathal (Eric) and Bobby Edwards (Brenda); and her close friends, Lena Conway and Lynda Edwards. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
