We are sad to announce that on April 23, 2023, at the age of 76, Edith Leona Smith (Sydney, Nova Scotia), born in Balls Creek, Nova Scotia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Lewis and Margaret Lewis (Hurd); her husband Francis "Frank"; her daughter Shelley Marie; her sister Lorraine MacDonald; her sister-in-law Patsy Lewis; and her brothers, William "Billy" and Charles Lewis.
She is survived by: her daughter Kelly Ann Smith; her siblings, Marjorie MacInnis, Edmonton, Hazel Hart, Diane Gould (Larry), Ambrose and Jimmy (Janet); and her grandchildren, Ryan, Leland, Shelibi, Mitchell, Kayla and Chelsea Lynn. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to the Hospice Palliative Care Society of Cape Breton County or Loaves and Fishes.
