With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Doug MacDonald (Sydney, Nova Scotia), who passed away on September 30, 2023. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Colin and Jennie (Kaiser); and his siblings, Dave, Rollie and Pam.
He is survived by: his family, Smokey, Brandy and Bandit; his wife Pam MacDonald (Mader); his children, Brenda and Blair (Kim); his grandchildren, Jamie (Heather), Cassandra (Daniel), Dana (Noah), Colin, Madison and Makenzie; his great grandchild Owen; his mother-in-law Rollie (Mary Mader); his brother-in-law Perter Vanderwyst; his siblings, Bill (Rita), Jane (Gary) and Patsy (Gooie); his siblings-in-law, Malcolm and Bernadette; his brother Glenn; and his sister-in-law Peggy. He is also survived by his cousins; and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Doug's name to the Dialysis Unit of CBRH.
