She was predeceased by: her parents, James and Bertha Cooke (MacNeil); her son George "Sandy" MacNeil; and her siblings, Roy MacNeil and Tessie Tomko.
She is survived by: her children, Dave "Harry" and Joanne; her pets, Kandy and Spike; her son David MacNeil; her grandsons, Tyler and Dustin Mitchell; and her siblings, Louise Kelland and Gerald MacNeil.
A service will be announced at a later date due to Covid-19 restrictions. We, the family, would like to thank the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, as well as the MacGillivray Guest Home for the wonderful care and compassion for our mother.
