He was predeceased by: his parents, Hector MacPherson and Margaret MacPherson (Lamond); his wife Annie Agnes (MacLeod); his brothers, Fred, John Willie, Norman and Allie; and his siblings-in-law, Sarah MacPherson, Sadie MacIntyre, Billy, Christine MacLeod, Lester MacLeod, Peter MacLeod, Christie, John Holmes, Joseph Mason, Philip Brown and Renee Langer.
He is survived by: his children, Valerie Blair (Charlie) and Donald; his grandchildren, Kent (Aeron), Robb (Robyn), Ryan (Anne), Kori (Jenn), Holly Francis (Albert), Rhiannon MacPherson and Mary Blair; his great grandchildren, Ethan, Haylea, Jude, Kelly, Blayke, Brody, Owen, Kayden and Maddie; and his siblings-in-law, Margaret, Mary Effie MacPherson, Peggy Mason, Dolena Brown, Mary Blackmore (Sonny), Danalda Drysdale (Earl), Mariena Seifried (Ron), Angus (Alice) and John James MacLeod. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations may be made to St. Columba Presbyterian Church, Marion Bridge, the An Cala Unit at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital or a charity of your choice.
