It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald Alexander Matheson (Sydney, Nova Scotia), who passed away on September 29, 2022, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Roderick Matheson and Kathleen Matheson (MacLeod); his wife Mary (Brewer); and his brothers, Russell and Kenneth.
He is survived by: his children, Donna Sheppard (Brian), Sydney, Norma Matheson (John), Whitney Pier, Kenny (Sonia) and Doug (Denise); his grandchildren, Mikayla, Kathleen, Jenna, Breanna, Thor, Hannes, Rory and Rhys; and his great grandchild Sage.
Memorials may be made to the Cancer Center at the CBRH or Charity of Choice.
