We are sad to announce that on January 3, 2022, Delores Christina (MacCormack) Starzomski (Sydney, Nova Scotia) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Christina MacCormack (Gillis) and Colin MacCormack; her siblings, Colleen MacNeil and Colin MacCormack; her siblings-in-law, Vince MacNeil, George Schmid and Kathy MacCormack; and her grandson Josh Chislett.
She is survived by: her husband Frank; her siblings, Dan, Elaine Schmid and Heather Fraser (Steve); her sister-in-law Janice MacCormack; her daughters, Lisa Raitt (Bruce Wood), Cora Lee Starzomski, Krista Ann Starzomski (Jeff Wilson) and Tanya (Sean Chislett); her grandchildren, Nikolas (Samantha), Noah, Kristofer Starzomski-Wilson, John-Colin, Billy Raitt, Bella, Marleigh Howes, Rhiannon McNamara, Frankie and Sophie Chislett; and her caregiver Halifax.
Due to Covid, a private family memorial Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, January 5, 2022, at 11 a. m. in St. Mary's Polish Church, Whitney Pier with Fr. Dennis Lamey officiating.
In lieu of flowers please consider making donations to the Hospice Palliative Care Society of Cape Breton County or the St. Mary's Polish Church Building Fund in Delores's memory.
