He is survived by: his sons, Doug (Carol), Arnold (Cindy), Sydney and Jamie (Tracey); his grandchildren, Leanne (Nick), Kiefer (Amanda), Samantha, Matthew and Elliot; and his great grandchildren, Kade, Lilly, Kegan, Sophia and Alexander.

Memorials may be made to the Cancer Unit at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital.
