He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Delores, Melvin Burton and John 'Jackie Walters; his aunt Jacqueline; his uncle Paul MacChesney; and his cousins, Travis Hayes, Jason and Andrew Burton.
He is survived by: his parents, Anna Walters and Darrell Walters; his son Mason; his sisters, Tasha (Todd) and Annette; his grandmother Veronica Walters; his nephews, Cameron, Brett, Bryson and Keegan; his niece Paige; and his close friend Ashley McNeil. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and many close friends.
Donations in memory of Darrell may be made to the Autism Society of Cape Breton.
