It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Danielle Ruth Brauen McNeil (Sydney, Nova Scotia), born in Pembroke, Ontario, who passed away on November 12, 2021, at the age of 51, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Daniel; her grandparents, Emile, Ann Hoffman, Walter, Lily and Annie Brauen; her mother-in-law Ollie; and her brother-in-law Joël Gaudette.

She is survived by: her husband Bill; her children, Jahred Smith, William, Cailey, Miss K and Danielle; her mother Elva; her sisters, Wanda McWhirter (Rob), Marilyn Tait (Doug), Janice Bedard (Paul), Nancy Helstein (Leo), Michele Biesenthal (Mike) and Petawawa; and her father-in-law Bert. She is also survived by sisters and brothers-in-law; as well as several aunts, uncles, many nieces, nephews and grand nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, a donation in memory of Danielle may be made to the Cape Breton Branch SPCA or the Two Rivers Wildlife Park.
