He was predeceased by: his former wife Ann Marie; his sister Cheryl; and his grandson Caleb MacArthur. He is survived by: his wife Charlene MacPherson; his son-in-law Blair Crane; his grandchildren, Emily (Stuart Morley), Declan Crane, Michael, Nicole, Ella, Aubreigh, Lauchlin, Emery MacArthur, Michelle, Scott, Cate, Jena and Carter Macaulay; his siblings, Sarah and Frank MacPherson (Patricia); and also, Saoirse, Marion MacLeod, Ann Lea (Reid), Alan MacLeod (Debbie) and Patricia Calder (Carl).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in memory of Danny may be made to "Caleb's Courage" or "Tom MacNeil Cancer Patient Care Fund" through the Cape Breton Regional Hospital Foundation.
