With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Daniel Burke (Sydney, Nova Scotia), who passed away on January 15, 2023 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William and Maryann (Bates); his siblings, Barbara, Lorraine, Joseph, Billy and Barry; and his siblings-in-law, Dan, Sadie MacDonald, Johnny, Roy, Cecil, Dave, Walter, Clifford, Dennis, Kathleen and Marilyn.
He is survived by: his wife Rita (MacDonald); his children, Julie (Terry), Kelly (Cecil), Corinne (Blair), Tammie (Yvon) and Jonathan (Sherrie); his grandchildren, Alex (Jerrica), Adam (Katrina), Taylor (Annalisa), Kathryn (Chris), Chloe (Ian), Barbara (Bret), Evan and Sarah; his great grandchildren, Oaklynn and Henry; his siblings, Irene, Geneva and Gerard; and his siblings-in-law, Lauchie (Irene), Jackie (Patsy), Bert (Clarisse), Kenny (Laurie), Margie (Danny), Debbie (Lawrence), Mary Burke and Mary MacDonald. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
