It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Clotilda Douglas-Yakimchuk Rn Ons (Sydney, Nova Scotia), who passed away on April 15, 2021, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Reginald and Lillian Gertrude Coward (Blackman) of Barbados; her former husband Justice Benson T. Douglas; and her husband Dan Yakimchuk. She is survived by: her children, Sharon (Isa), Valerie (Cyrus), Carl (Margaret) of Mississauga, ON, Leslie (Dockery) of Burlington, ON and Kendrick (Lynnette) of Lakeside, NS; her stepchildren, Dale-Ann Yakimchuk (John) of Victoria, BC and Danny Yakimchuk (Connie) of Sydney, NS; and her siblings, Reginald (Judy), Rubin (Deborah), Sackville, Ethel Tomlinson (Rex), Missouri, Cephas (Jennifer) and Clara (Everett). She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
