He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth MacDermid and Louise MacDermid (Lewis); his sister Carol Ann; his son Dean; and his grandchildren, June and Cory.
He is survived by: his parents-in-law, Ian, Annie, Alana (Kevin), Eric (Jamie Lynn), Ryan MacInnis (Erica) and Julius (Kelsey); his grandchildren, Logan Ciaran and Kelsey; his children, Sandy (Kelly), Charles, Kenny (Claire), Bryan, Todd (Heidi), Clarence Jr. (Marcie), Janet (Dave), Kim (Dave), Dawn, Evelyn (Dave), Ellen (Dan), Michelle (Joe) and Tammy; his brother Charles (Ann); and his nieces and nephews, Kenzie (Lynda), Kelly (Joanna) and Jason (Lisa). He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
