She was predeceased by: her parents, Michael Matheson and Lucy Matheson (Anderson). She is survived by: her children, Florence MacPherson (Donald) and Ronald Harvey; her granddaughters, Courtney Debison (Matthew), Alta, Stephanie Mackinnon (Tylor) and Melissa MacPherson; her great grandchildren, Alia, Cara, Bryson, Ethan, Cohen, Hayden, Hudson and Kenji; her siblings, Austin (Fran), Billy (Sharon), Betty, Joan and Florence; her sister-in-law Arthena; her close friends, Myrna Seward, Renata Poloni and Donna Debison; her husband Gordon Harvey; her children, John Gordon, Joan "Betty" Clarke and Dianne Harvey; and her siblings, Stanley, Leo, Ann and Aggie. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Cecilia's memory may be made to the Palliative Care Unit at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital.
