With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Cecelia (Whitty) Farr of Sydney, Nova Scotia, born in Ingonish, Nova Scotia, who passed away on June 18, 2021. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Cecelia (Whitty) Farr to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Tom Whitty and Rachel Whitty (Donovan); her husband Tom Farr; and her siblings, Thomas Whitty, Edna Whitty and Leona Royal.
She is survived by: her friend Maylene Ferguson; her children, Tom Farr (Heather) and Joanne Farr (Kent); her close friend Donnie Green; her grandchildren, Nathan MacLeod (Mary Jo), Riley MacLeod, Jade Farr, Lia Farr, Summer MacLeod and Ryley Hawco; and her sisters, Eileen Hawley, Barbara Herridge (Murdock), Gertrude Whitty and Evangeline Hawley. She is also survived by mother who loved her children and grandchildren.
Covid protocols will be practiced at the service and for those unable to attend, Live Streaming will be available on our website.
