She was predeceased by: her parents, Basil George and Barb George (Waye); her husband Thomas Corbett; her daughter Kelly; and her siblings, Constance, Bobby and Melvin.
She is survived by: her close friend Eugene Blois; her children, Paul "Ecky" (Lesley), Dawn "Midge" (Seward), Dale MacPhail (Kevin) and Sydney River; her sisters, Gloria, Sharon, Betty and Glenda; her grandchildren, Kyle (Katrina), Shawn (Katie), Kaylie (Kyle), Holly (Brody), Morgan and T. J.; and her great grandchildren, Olivia, Cohen, Rohen, Cecila, Georgia and Avery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the An Cala Palliative Care Unit at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital.
