He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph MacLean and Jenny MacLean (MacNeil); his brother Malcolm Roderick; his nieces and nephews, Jordana and Gerard Francis MacLean (Jacqui); his mother-in-law Theresa MacLean; and his brother-in-law Douglas.

He is survived by: his wife Cecilia Ann; his children, Jason (Lorianne), Scott (Jean) and Alana Dalley (Michael); his grandchildren, Emily, Brady, Angus, Hamaish, Sloan, Baron, Stuart and Mira; his brother Raymond (Annette); his nieces and nephews, Jennifer and Kenna; his parents-in-law, Regina Curry (Joe), Tom MacLean (Fran), Blaise MacLean (Karen), Katie (Sheldon), Dougal, Brett (Natalie), Candice (Jason), Alyce (Rob), Patrick and Sarah (Richard); his godchildren, Katie, Kenna, Alyce, Greg, Kara and Angela; and also Big Blaise.
