She was predeceased by: her parents, Douglas McIntyre and Adelaide McIntyre (O'Handley); her daughter Donna Hooper (Smith); and her siblings, Frankie and Allie.
She is survived by: her husband Reg; her children, Barbara Smith (Graham Fequet), Nancy MacLean (James), Reginald (Carol) of New Brunswick and Joseph Rohrback (Tracey) of New Brunswick; her grandchildren, Chiara, Tara, Courtney, Matthew, Jarrett, Lauren, Devon and Ryan; her great grandchildren, Khloe, Austin, Rory and Nora; her siblings, Rosemarie "Sissy" Bond, Lorraine McIntyre, Marilyn, John and Wayne; and her son-in-law Gary Hooper.
Her surviving daughters were by her side and her sons were with her in love and spirit due to Covid restrictions.
Memorials may be made to the Cancer Unit at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital.
