It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ann George (Sydney, Nova Scotia), born in Toronto, Ontario, who passed away on May 22, 2024, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Ann may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Ann touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Grimett and Mabel Grimett; and her husband Robert "Bobby" George. She is survived by: her children, Gloria MacNeil (Buddy), Cindy MacPhee (Greg), Robert (Tracey) and Nelson (Tracey). She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
