He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecilia Farrell (MacLean) and John D. Farrell; his siblings, Cathy MacDonald, Mary Jo MacDonald, Elizabeth "Lizzie", Peggy, Neil, Johnny and Lenny; and his granddaughter Effie.
He is survived by: his children, Jillian (Brad Burke), Heather Langer (Michael) and Michael (Alix Redden); his grandchildren, Kieran, Ella, Lexi, Madelyn, Lydia and Piper; and his siblings, Dan, Roddie, Foncie, Anne Marie Taylor, Marion "Molly" MacKenzie, Irene Hason and Lexie MacMullin.
Donations in his memory can be made to the Féis an Eilein or the Alderwood Rest Home.
