He was predeceased by: his parents, Garfield Kennedy and Lucy Kennedy (Burke); his son Ryan Kennedy of Calgary, AB; his brothers, Dennis, Bobby, Donald and Sandy; his niece Melissa; and his siblings-in-law, Roger, Kenny and Linda.
He is survived by: his girlfriend Mary Campbell; his daughter Andrea Reid (Ryan); his grandfather K'to; his daughters, Emily and Danielle Reid; his siblings, Tommy (Lloydette), Harry (Glenda), Leonard, Elaine (Stewart), Jackie, Stephen, Glenda (Billy), Jamie (Brenda) and Jody (Shari); and his pet Mira. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Alvin, may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, or the Canadian Diabetes Association.
