It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Allen Robert McKay (Sydney, Nova Scotia), born in Halifax, Nova Scotia, who passed away on November 26, 2023, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles McKay and Katherine McKay (Marriott); his siblings, Shirley Ann Lunn (Bill), James, Robert and William; and his brother-in-law Willie MacIsaac.
He is survived by: his wife Anita (MacIsaac); his children, Michelle, Robbie, Adam (Amanda) and AJ McKay; his grandchildren, Alexis, Alyssa and Austin McKay; his brother Wayne (Shirley) McKay (Arcadia); and his siblings-in-law, Dan MacIsaac (Ann), John MacIsaac (Ann Marie), Gerard MacIsaac (Rhoda), Mary Cooke (Brian), Diane Cooke (Donnie), Marilyn Reck (Joe) and Diane MacIsaac. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
