Shirley was predeceased by: parents, Mildred Ettinger (McFetridge) and Nelson Ettinger; husband Earle; and siblings, William Ettinger (Minna), Albert Ettinger (Elizabeth), Victor Ettinger (Geraldine) and Freda Welner.

Shirley is survived by: children, Shelley of Sydney Forks, NS and Jim (Hilda) of Dieppe, NB; and sister Kay Douglas of Halifax, NS. Shirley is also survived by nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the charity of one's choice.
