He was predeceased by: his parents, James Burchell and Miriam Burchell; his brother Jimmy; and his nephew Matthew Walker. He is survived by: his wife Marguerite; his daughter Miriam; his granddaughters, Moza and Willow; his pet Maggie; and his siblings, Anne, Susan, Mary Jane and Emmett.
