Walter Alvin Day Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Walter Alvin Day (Sydney Mines, Nova Scotia), who passed away on November 16, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Day and Regis Day; his parents-in-law, Charlotte and Bill Young; his siblings, Theresa Maclean (Wilson), Reginald, Wayne and Alexander; and his brother-in-law William Young.

He is survived by: his wife Mary Frances (Young); his children, Paula Jessome (Adam), Paul (Danielle), Lisette Wright (Darryl) and Stephen (Carla); his grandchildren, Barry, Victoria, Ryan, Nicole, Addysen and Moira; and his siblings, Mildred Winstanley (late Jack), Joan Nugent (late Billy), Keitha Fahey (late Billy), Miriam Gouthro (Vic), Wanda Rideout (Alex) and Billy (Marcella).
