Viola Pero Obituary
We are sad to announce that on November 16, 2023, at the age of 94, Viola Pero of Sydney Mines, Nova Scotia, born in North Sydney, Nova Scotia passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Viola Pero to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alexander Harper (Alex) and Florence Harper (Jarvis); her daughter Ann Coloua; her stepdaughter Rhodina Orr (Steele) of Hubbard; her sisters, Mabel, Jean, Ada, Delores and Ramona; her aunt Leone; and her brothers, Guy, Calvin, Roland and John (Jackie).
She is survived by: her children, Calista (late John MacLellan), Jeri Pero (Steve MacInnis), Joanne Marinelli (late Brian Marinelli), Bill Pero (Donna) and Darren Pero (Karen); her son-in-law Allan Fraser; her grandchildren, Cara MacLellan, Jonah MacLellan, Matthew Fraser, Andrew Fraser (Grace), Brian Marinelli, Aaron Marinelli (Rachel), Zachary Pero (Robin), Chelsea Rajkovic (Silvano), Julianna Shehata (Mohammed), Ty and Evan Pero; her great grandchildren, Iain MacLellan, Rhysa Marinelli, Olive Pero, Adrijana, Mateja, Luka William Rajkovic, Hannah, Noah Marinelli, Simone, Rowan Fraser and Duncan Alisdair Fraser; her caregivers, Diane, Linda, Dietician Michelle Keeling and Cheryl; and also, Jane Ernst, Gail and Pam. She is also survived by Mom loved to hear stories of her great-grandchildren.
Donations can be made in Mom's memory to the Neo-Natal Intensive Care Unit of the IWK, the Cape Breton Regional Hospital NICU, or the Northside Community Guest Home Foundation.
