With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Vernon Carey of Sydney Mines, Nova Scotia, who passed away on September 8, 2021 at the age of 69. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe-Joe Carey and Dorothy Carey; his brothers, Lawrence, Jude, Lester and Sheldon; and his brother-in-law Wayne Dealhoy.

He is survived by: his siblings, Wayne (Rose), Brian (Arlene), Kevin (Leslie), Billy (Gina), Carl (Lillian), Sarah (Wayne), Darlene (Melvin), Brenda (Wayne) and Melody (Glen).
