He was predeceased by: his parents, Simon Peter and Justine (LeBlanc); his daughter Nadine; and his siblings, Anna Thurbide and Rev George.

He is survived by: his spouse Sarah; his sons, Very Rev Joseph, Dr Andrew (Dr Heidi King) and Saint John; his grandchildren, Simon and Siena; and his sisters, Catherine, Antigonish, Delia Campbell (Paul), Lower Sackville and Helen Buckingham (Joe). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to North of Smokey Hospice Palliative Care Fund, St Peter's Parish Cemetery Fund, or to the donor's choice.
