We are sad to announce that on March 16, 2025, at the age of 88, Shirley Jean Voutier (Sydney Mines, Nova Scotia) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Mercer and Elizabeth Mercer. She is survived by: her husband Maxwell Voutier; her children, Paul and Karen; and her grandson TJ (Julia). She is also survived by many nephews and nieces.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 20th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the J. M. Jobes Funeral Home (635 Main St, Sydney Mines, NS B1V2Y4). A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Carman United Church (Clyde Ave, Sydney Mines, NS B1V).
The family requests memorial donations be made to the Carman United Church Memorial Fund.
