He was predeceased by: his parents, Neil MacKinnon and Annie MacKinnon; and his brother Darryl. He is survived by: his wife Valerie (Theriault); his children, Stacy Dixon (Lowell), Heather Budge (Tait), Andre MacKinnon and Maggie MacInnis; his brother Dean (Linda Peters); his sister-in-law Kathy MacKinnon; and his friend Wayne Budge. He is also survived by his many cousins, nieces, nephews, friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Sheldon's memory can be made to St. Andrew's Anglican Church, Neils Harbour.
