It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sam Lamey (Sydney Mines, Nova Scotia), born in River Denys, Nova Scotia, who passed away on December 11, 2018, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parent John Hugh; his wife Lucy Marie; and his siblings, Bill, Danny, James, Rannie, Sadie Mancini and Margaret Clarke.
He is survived by: his parent Margaret Lamey (MacLean); his children, Rosemary Landry (Louis), Samuel, Jr., Gerald and Rannie; his grandchildren, Leigh Ann Young, Michael Young, Terri Lynn Young, Allison MacKenzie, Jennifer Tew, Peter Lamey, Daniel Lamey and Jordan Lamey; and his great grandchildren, Finley, Madden, Luca, Jameson, MacLean, Briar, Arden and Eli.
