With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Ruth Anne Gillan (Sydney Mines, Nova Scotia), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her husband David; her son Malcolm; and her siblings, Donald, Mary and Emily.
She is survived by: her children, Stewart (Sarah), Gordon, Saint John, Anne (Robert) and Tom; her grandchildren, Robert Day (Leah), Christina Foy (Adam) and Kamren LeLievre; her children, Imogen, Alexander Gillan and Ian Gillan; her great grandchild Daya Foy; and her siblings, Lynda Mockler and Kenneth Macaulay (Betty).
Visitation was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Fillmore & Whitman Funeral Home (8 Clyde Ave, Sydney Mines, NS B1V2E4). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church (3 Queen St, Sydney Mines, NS B1V2L1).
